Our school had the pleasure of hosting Laura during our Read Across America celebration. Laura was very professional in her communications for arranging the visit and provided clear expectations. She presented her story to our students projected on a screen which kept our young learners engaged and interested. Laura shared her experiences with Kiba which added to our students' interest and excitement! This assembly was an excellent experience for our students.

Author Bio
Laura Hockensmith is the author of the Kiba Tales series. These children's picture books follow the traveling adventures of Kiba, a pint-sized, fluffy dog with pointy ears. Laura is also the author of whimsical poems on Instagram, starring the real-life Kiba.
Laura is a native of Pennsylvania, but now calls the Netherlands home. She hopes to inspire children to travel and create their own adventures.
Note: Unfortunately, Kiba, the dog, does not join for school visits in the U.S.
